LocalShops1 Birthday Bash + Community Awards

Every year LocalShops1 celebrates its birthday in the summer by honoring the Tampa Bay community leaders, business owners and local activists who make Tampa Bay a better place. 

The 2019  gala takes place 4-7 pm Sunday September 8 at the beautiful Marchand's Restaurant at the Vinoy Renaissance Resort in downtown St. Petersburg with a spectacular afternoon brunch reception and awards ceremony. 

Guests  will be treated to the world-famous Sunday Buffet at Marchand's. We bought out the entire restaurant for a private reception featuring omelets made to order; assorted meats, cheeses and seafood; dessert stations; and much more.  The Vinoy, which opened in 1925, is one of the country's most prestigious destinations, and has hosted celebrities, presidents, movie stars, authors ... and now, you, along with Tampa Bay's top business owners and community leaders!
 
The event will be hosted by Carolina Leid, 10 News.
Our keynote speaker is Dr. Kanika Tomalin, St. Peterburg's deputy mayor.
